The potential for shallow cultivations to replace glyphosate ahead of spring cropping

The successful management of black-grass relies upon a handful of well-utilised cultural control techniques, however these themselves are reliant upon glyphosate to control any weed flushes prior to drilling. This trial looks to find ways that reduces the reliance on glyphosate in these systems, but maintains effective grassweed management. In this example, repeated shallow cultivations have tested against, and alongside glyphosate.
