19 June 2018 – Open field day on IWMPRAISE experimental trials in Pisa

On Tuesday the 19th of June 2018 the “Enrico Avanzi” Agricultural Research Center of the University of Pisa (CIRAA) opens its doors to meet everyone who is interested in Integrated Weed Management (IWM).

The afternoon visit to the experimental site will begin at 3.30 p.m. at the headquarters of CiRAA in via Vecchia di Marina 6, San Piero a Grado (Pisa).

During the visit relevant IWM tools will be demonstrated and discussed, in particular:

  • Intercropping wheat and legumes
  • Mechanical termination of cover crops
  • Cover crops for field vegetables

This initiative is part of the IWMPRAISE Project, the first H2020 project entirely dedicated to the development of methods for IWM.
